New Advisory Fuel Rates

We are all very well aware, that while the fall in the price of oil is overall good, it is a bit of a double-edged sword.

The latest downside is that HMRC have reduced the amount it will allow you to pay employees for the business cost of fuel they pay for in a company car.

The rates that used to be 13p, 16p and 23p for petrol engines are now 11p, 13p and 20p.

Diesel engines are now 9p, 11p and 14p.  They used to be 11p, 13p and 16p.

New rates are effective from 1st March.
